Swatch Proteam athletes will be shredding the trails and helping fans get closer to the action
Swatch is gearing up for an exhilarating ride this summer as official partner of the final leg of the Crankworx World Tour Series in Whistler, BC. This is the fifth year that Swatch has sponsored the event and it’s guaranteed to be another epic encounter. First held in Whistler in 2004, Crankworx has evolved into a four-stage international event and the ultimate mountain biking experience. It brings together the best mountain bike athletes to compete in a multitude of disciplines, from slopestyle to pump track and everything in between. Held across 10 days, it also offers the opportunity to shred the trails with like-minded bike fans.
Among those hitting the mountains this year are local hero Finn Iles and his fellow Swatch Proteam athlete Erik Fedko, both of whom will be battling it out to win big in Whistler!
Joining Finn and Erik and making the most of Whistler will be Swatch Proteam legends Casey Brown and the inimitable Sam Pilgrim. As well as enjoying the electric atmosphere and checking out the action, Casey and Sam will be hanging out at the Swatch Clubhouse helping fans get closer to the action and joining in the Proteam signing sessions. Swatch is taking over Whistler institution Black’s Pub and transforming it into the Swatch Clubhouse for the duration of Crankworx.
For fans of Sam, there will also be something special to discover at the Clubhouse and at the Swatch pop-up shop at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb. Just like the rest of the Crankworx Whistler action, it is not to be missed!
