Swatch Battle of Hastings 2024
We’re stoked to announce our return as title sponsor of the Swatch Battle of Hastings, one of the biggest BMX happenings in the world. Look forward to jaw-dropping tricks and heart-pounding action from BMX legends at this year’s event, all going down from September 5 to 8, 2024, at Source Park. The world’s largest underground BMX bike park got a facelift, with brand-new course for riders’ freshest moves.
Eight dream teams of BMX riders battling it out
Teams of the best riders in BMX will be tearing it up at Source Park. The team captains are BMX legends, including Swatch Proteam athlete Matthias Dandois – the first flatlander to captain a crew at this event. Throughout the week, they’ll go head-to-head in BMX battles. Only the top five teams will advance to the epic Sunday showdown to see who’ll come out on top.
More adrenaline-pumping moments
Down on the beach, riders will showcase their awe-inspiring skill in the Beach Rail Jam and pull off gravity-defying high jumps at the Swatch High Air contest. And, of course, you’ll find us at the beach contest doing a 300-donut giveaway and hanging by our Swatch beach cabins.
Event visitors can expect an electrifying atmosphere throughout the day thanks to a variety of happenings. Highlights include meet and greet sessions, tasty treats inspired by the world of BMX and a special Swatch prize giving ceremony.

Swatch fans will also get the the chance to buy watches from the new Swatch PROTEAM Collection including the G–TURN, created with Matthias Dandois. With a rugged transparent case, understated design and gold-colored details, this supersized watch mirrors the style and creativity the flatland hero is known and loved for.
