Swatch partners with VERDY at Biennale Arte 2024

VERDY's Biennale artwork: VICK BRONZE BY VERDY
A Japan native, VERDY is recognized for his distinctive graphic work in Tokyo’s street scene. This creative force will showcase his versatility at the Biennale Arte 2024 with VICK BRONZE BY VERDY, a bronze-colored 4-meter-high figure of his iconic panda-rabbit character Vick. An incredible Art Special watch recreates this artwork in watch form.
Meet Japan’s beloved graphic artist, VERDY
VERDY is one of Japan’s most celebrated artists, recognized for his distinctive illustrations and graphic work. Best known for his panda-rabbit character Vick and monster character Visty, VERDY is also behind street labels like Girls Don’t Cry and Wasted Youth, which have solidified his status as a pivotal figure in streetwear and fashion.

We’re so proud to be the Biennale Arte’s main partner yet again. The theme for this 60th edition draws inspiration from the Claire Fontaine collective’s concept of “Foreigners everywhere”, prompting reflection on our notions of belonging.
