Swatch World Breakdance Championship
In 1984, we fused the vibrant world of music, the vivid hues of art and the adrenaline rush of sports in one incredible event: the Swatch World Breakdancing Championship. Way ahead of its time, and the first of its kind, this event united people across generations and backgrounds in one magical moment.
The Swatch World Breakdance Championship took place in 1984 in New York City and was known almost as much for its iconic poster, designed by Keith Haring, as it was for the music and breakdance action on stage.
