MISSION TO EARTHPHASE
This non-limited chronograph features a light gray Bioceramic case, crown and pushers as well as a black VELCRO® strap with contrasting light gray topstitching and Bioceramic loop. It has a gray dial with a grainy texture that resembles the lunar surface. This timepiece has a tachymeter scale in a sleek black hue with markers in a newly created light gray color. In celebration of the Moon and the Earth, it boasts both a moon phase and a patented earth phase function. Two oversized moons with Super-LumiNova® (white emission) can be seen on the moon phase disc, which rotates in the subdial set at 2 o’clock. The earth phase function located in the subdial at 10 o'clock is colored. Adding an otherworldly touch, the oceans are coated with UV ink, that emit a blue glow under UV light. An image of the Moon can be found on the battery cover complete with the footprint of Neil Armstrong—the first man to set foot there. The dials of every watch in this collection carry the OMEGA X Swatch branding, the iconic Speedmaster logo and the MoonSwatch logo. Also common to all models are the box-shaped biosourced glass construction, the etched "S" in the center of the glass referencing the Swatch logo, the fine and sophisticated circular pattern on the dial outer ring and the recessed subdials, the sharp and smooth lugs construction and of course the unique Bioceramic feel. The hour markers, hour and minute hands and the tip of the chronograph seconds hand are coated with light gray Grade A Super-LumiNova® for a perfect glow in the dark (green emission). The Bioceramic MoonSwatch MISSION TO EARTHPHASE will be available at selected Swatch stores worldwide from November 2.

Inspired by Earth as seen from the Moon
MISSION TO EARTHPHASE was inspired by Earth as seen from the Moon, a mesmerizing view that has been captured in iconic images during various Apollo missions.
Earth phase indicator
Just as we observe the Moon’s phases from Earth, the Earth exhibits phases when viewed from the Moon. Both the Moon and the Earth take approximately 29.5 days to go through all their phases, but in reverse order. This means that, for instance, when we see a full Moon from Earth, an observer on the Moon would see a “new Earth,” and vice versa. This is also why the earth phase on MISSION TO EARTHPHASE turns in the opposite direction to the moon phase.
Special features
MISSION TO EARTHPHASE is the only watch with an earth phase indicator, making it a truly rare and extraordinary timepiece. Since it also features a moon phase, it is also the first watch to have both phases on its dial. A perfect blend of cosmic wonder and earthly beauty, the phases on this timepiece are crafted with unique details. The earth phase mirrors the beauty of our blue planet as seen from the Moon with its vivid colors. The oceans on the earth phase are coated with UV ink that glows blue under UV light, creating a mesmerizing, otherworldly effect. To emphasize the enchanting view of the Moon facing the Earth, the craters of the Moon have been created using digital printing. The moon phase indicator features two oversized moons which glow white in the dark thanks to Super-LumiNova®, adding a touch of lunar charm. Evoking the stark beauty of the Moon’s surface, the dial has a grainy gray texture while the battery cover features an image of the Moon and the footprint of Neil Armstrong–the first man to set foot there, reminding us of the wonders of space exploration. The bezel showcases a black tachymeter scale with striking light gray markers, a newly developed color.
