Swatch is stoked to announce our return as title sponsor of the Swatch Battle of Hastings, UK, one of the biggest BMX happenings in the world and the ultimate celebration of BMX Park culture. Renowned for bringing together the biggest names in BMX and featuring jaw-dropping tricks, this year’s Battle takes place from 5 to 8 September 2024.
The unique format allows captains to pick three of their favorite riders to join their team and battle it out over the weekend to win points. From Beach Rail Jam to the Swatch High Air contest and Best Trick sessions all the riders are keen to impress. The top five teams battle it out in the Sunday Finals to see who will be crowned champions.
Once again in 2024, the Swatch High Air on the beach promises to be a fan favorite with its gravity-defying high jumps as riders showcase their incredible skill and daring.
The Swatch Battle of Hastings takes place at Source Park, UK, the world’s biggest BMX underground bike park and store, which has a brand-new course for the first time in a decade.
Last year's overall winners return as team captains and are joined by Swatch Proteam athlete and BMX superstar Matthias Dandois – the first time a flatlander has captained a crew.
With a Swatch party, meet and greet sessions with the Swatch Proteam athlete and the chance to buy watches from the new Swatch PROTEAM Collection including the G–TURN, created with Matthias Dandois, there's plenty to look forward to.
BMX enthusiasts and Swatch fans can catch every moment of the epic showdown in person from anywhere around the world, as the Swatch Battle of Hastings will be live-streamed, ensuring no one misses out on the action. With Swatch in the saddle, this BMX battle will be epic!
