MISSION TO MOONSHINE GOLD
In 2023, the MISSION TO MOONSHINE GOLD models added a provocative twist to the Bioceramic MoonSwatch lineup. Over the course of nearly a year, eleven models were created, each showcasing a distinct seconds hand coated with OMEGA’s Moonshine™ Gold. Enhancing the chronographs with a captivating lunar essence, these unique seconds hands were produced each month during full moons.
In February 2024, OMEGA auctioned 11 exclusive “Mission to Moonshine Gold” suitcases each containing the eleven rare models, all bundled up together for the very first time as a set. The auctioning raised a substantial sum of 534,670 CHF which was donated to Orbis International, fueling their mission to prevent avoidable blindness and vision loss worldwide.

This series of seconds hands was produced exclusively during the full moon of November.

This watch is a tribute to the OMEGA Speedmaster CK 2998-3 FAP from 1961, the last Speedmaster with the 2998 reference that was fitted with the chronograph lollipop seconds hand. This series of unique seconds hands was produced exclusively during the full moon of September.
