Introducing the new face of halfpipe innovation and rising surf star
We are thrilled to announce that the multi-talented 13-year-old board sports sensation Patti Zhou is now a Swatch Proteam athlete. With an ultra-rare ability of riding both through fresh powder and gnarly ocean waves, Patti brings a whole lot of talent and unstoppable energy to our elite athletes’ roster.
Originally from China, where she started snowboarding in the mountains of Beijing at age two, Patti’s rise in the snowboarding world has been nothing short of meteoric. Her dedication and exceptional talent have propelled her to winter sports stardom.
Following a string of top finishes, Patti made history in 2023 as the youngest athlete to land on the podium at the Dew Tour and won the silver medal at the China National Championships in 2024.
Beyond shredding the mountains like a pro, this talented athlete possesses a remarkable ability to transition seamlessly from the snow into the water. Patti’s 2nd place at the renowned STAB High Japan contest, in the “Lady Bird” category, as well as a recent video of her shredding through the waves at Waco Surf, prove she is a “dual threat” competitor.
Known for her vibrant and outgoing personality, Patti embodies the spirit of positive provocation and boundary pushing that Swatch is also known for. Her unique style, passion for progression and playful nature make her the perfect addition to the Swatch Proteam and are sure to propel her towards accomplishing her wildest dream of becoming an Olympian in both surf and snowboarding.
