An undertaking like this takes a lot of courage — and a lot of planning. Cody has skied a few of the 50 classic lines before, including one he won't be repeating for The FIFTY: the Messner Couloir on Alaska's Denali. His climb and descent of North America's highest peak in 2017 served as perfect preparation for the remaining 49.
Since embarking on this adventure in 2018, Cody has taken on most of the 50 lines. As season 4 begins, he has just over a dozen to go. It's been an epic journey of huge challenges and frustrations – but also of amazing all-time runs.
